If you are withdrawing your child from public school to begin homeschooling during the school year, fill out this letter and mail it “certified mail/return receipt requested” to the principal of the public school your child is currently attending. Keep a copy of the letter and the green postal receipt for your permanent records. If you are in a time-sensitive situation, contact HSLDA for guidance.
