HSLDA was founded in 1983 on the revolutionary idea that education begins at home and that families should be free to pursue the best education possible for their children.
Today, HSLDA Action gives that idea a voice in our government. We fight to protect the freedoms of homeschooling families against any who wish to undermine them.
