Cynthia Tobias’ background includes over 30 years of private practice, 8 years of teaching high school, and 6 years in law enforcement. She has authored 13 books and is a frequent guest on radio and television. Her expertise has taken her to schools,
churches, and businesses throughout the U.S. and the world. Cynthia has a B.A. from Northwest Nazarene University and a master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction from Seattle Pacific University, and she received an honorary
doctorate from Northwest Nazarene University in 2015. She is the mother of twin sons, now young adults, and she and her husband Jack live in the Seattle area.
