Summary of S.B. 866
North Carolina already has established the Opportunity Scholarships which are currently available to private school students. S.B. 866 would open up these scholarships to home school students as well.
At this time, there are no additional requirements in order for homeschoolers to access these funds beyond the requirements already existing for home schools in North Carolina.
For years HSLDA has consistently opposed various efforts across the country to fund private home education with public money. We are asking you to stand with us.
