HSLDA is seeking a Software Developer who is proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies to assist in data processing tasks and help with the development and maintenance of applications and integrations, creating a seamless user experience from the server side to the user interface. Will consider hybrid or remote work for the right candidate. 

What You Will Do

  • Develop/maintain applications and integrations
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, providing key operational support 
  • Assist in designing, planning, and documenting software solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable code
  • Assist with data processing tasks
  • Work effectively as part of an agile team in two-week sprints
  • Give and receive constructive feedback to improve code quality and team performance
  • Document code, processes, and configurations to support collaboration and future maintenance
  • Increase your technical acumen, stay updated with technology trends, and share technical innovations with your team
  • Work within HSLDA standards, practices, and software stacks
  • Occasionally provide support outside of standard business hours

What You Will Bring

  • At least three years of serious development experience; IT or CS degree preferred
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies and experience with front-end technologies
  • Experience and technical competence with ASP.Net MVC, C#, Sitefinity (or other CMS), API web services, JavaScript (framework experience preferred), HTML/CSS, XML/JSON, MS SQL, and IIS/SMTP administration. Experience with MS Visual Studio / Code
  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform development is a plus
  • Data schema design and user-focused UX/UI design experience are preferred
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Self-motivation and the analytical problem-solving skills required to identify and resolve issues
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
