Register with the State of Kansas as a non-accredited private school and abide by state regulations as they pertain to non-accredited private schools. (For more information, click here. Membership is limited to students in grades K through 12. Meet the following definition of home education: Curriculum or privately-funded online instruction that is selected and taught in the home by the parents or other family member. Classes that are taught in small group settings (i.e. cooperatives) for home school students. Online or on-campus public school participation that does not exceed 50%. Dual-credit classes taken through the local college that help complete high school requirements. Families that have some students enrolled full-time in other educational options may still join RCHE, but only those students in the family who meet the definition of home school will be considered participating members.
