| APHEA promotes home education on two levels: 1. Supportive Inter-Relationships APHEA provides means to foster contact between home school groups in Alaska, through publications and the presentation of seminars. We conduct an annual convention which encourages family participation. 2. Political Involvement APHEA fosters and protects a climate of non-interference for home education in Alaska by direct involvement in the political process. This is accomplished by providing information on issues and candidates and by acting as a liaison between home education and the Alaska legislature. We keep APHEA members informed through bulletins concerning pertinent legislation and Department of Education activities. | |||
