Membership is open to all homeschoolers who want to learn to code and play chess. We teach homeschoolers, kids as young as 6 years. Parent participation is critical to our success. We will help homeschool parents with the skill needed to help their kids learn chess and coding. Parents who homeschool and are good at the organization are a plus for our group. This group is local and worldwide, as we will give lessons online. On the local level, we meet in parks when the weather permits. The goal of this group is to bring homeschool families together. We believe children should have a balanced approach toward education, learning from the past, and embracing technology's advancing world. Our world is changing exponentially, and Challenging Heads is passionate about educating children on 21st Century technology. We want children to become creators of technology, from coding to infrastructure to design. This knowledge should start at Kindergarten. | |||
