| We believe each person’s faith and homeschool journey should be based on the freedom that Christ gave us through the cross (Galatians 5:1). We're here to support each other, not run your life, tell you “the right way” to homeschool or what you should believe. Recommendations given by members or admins should be taken as such and no one should feel condemnation for disagreeing with anyone else or doing things the way they feel is best for themselves and their children. Single parents and families with special-needs children are more than welcome (I am both) and I will do everything possible to ensure that you will not be discriminated against in any way. Above all else, this group is a safe place. If you have experienced abuse or other pain from churches, homeschool groups, or other Christian communities, please know that will not be tolerated here. We encourage open, loving communication if and when there is hurt or conflict. | |||
