Homeschool Teen Serve (HTS)
Last Verified: Tuesday, March 3, 2020
Homeschool Teen Serve (HTS) began in 2006 and is a Federal 501(c)3 group exempt organization. All affiliate chapters within HTS are included as part of the 501(c)3 group exemption and are exempt from State and Federal Income tax. Each locally based chapter maintains its own parent leadership, finances, and clientele, and serves under the supervision and with the support of the HTS Executive Board. Each registered student pays a minimal annual activity fee and is covered by liability insurance. HTS provides the unique opportunity for homeschooling teens to serve their communities together and build relationships with each other and those they serve, based on the common goal of being the hands and feet of Jesus for those less fortunate in their community. Student community service hours are tracked for use on high school transcripts, scholarship, job, and college applications.
