We are excited for you to join us at the 2025 National Leaders Conference! Whether you’re attending for the first time or are a seasoned veteran, we want to be sure you feel prepared and ready to get the most from the conference by covering some frequently asked questions.

What meals are included with registration?

All adult, teen, and kid registrations include dinner on Wednesday and Saturday and lunch on Thursday and Saturday. For those staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center, breakfast is complimentary.

I am arriving late Wednesday night. How do I pick up my registration packet and check in?

Registration will be open Thursday morning, 7:30–9:00 a.m., for those arriving late Wednesday.

What is the dress code?

Business or smart casual is appropriate for all sessions. Business or semiformal is appropriate for the Closing Banquet on Saturday. Casual attire is appropriate for all youth programs and events.

What airport transportation is available?

There are no shuttles to the conference hotel from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport or Dallas Love Field. Uber and Lyft are available from both airports, in addition to rental cars. You can find directions to the hotel and further information here. Hotel parking is free.

Is there a restaurant on-site?

Yes; Houlihan's and a small coffee shop are located in the hotel. There are also a few dining options within walking distance. All rooms are equipped with a mini refrigerator and a microwave.

Will there be food at the Opening Festivities?

Yes! Join us for this opening event filled with food and fun at Andy B’s Bowl Social.

I’m a sponsor. Am I allowed to attend the general sessions, workshops, and meals?

Certainly! We encourage you to fully participate in the conference outside of the exhibit hall times.

Is there complimentary Wi-Fi?

There is complimentary Wi-Fi in the main lobby and guest rooms only.

Are select-day or partial registrations available?

No. Registrations and registration prices are available for the full conference only.

Will there be childcare during the Friday-afternoon intensives?

No.

I need to cancel my registration. What do I do?

Please contact HSLDA’s events team at conference@hslda.org to cancel your registration. Please note that refunds will be considered and issued in accordance with the following provision in the registration terms and conditions:

I understand that if I must cancel my conference registration for an unforeseen reason, HSLDA will refund my registration upon written notification of cancellation on or before August 18, minus a $25 processing fee. From August 19 to September 1, 50% of the registration (minus a $25 processing fee) will be refunded upon written notification. Refunds will not be issued after September 1, 2025.
