Attend a Class

Don’t want to miss a moment of learning at the National Leaders Conference? We are excited to offer three optional intensives on Friday afternoon. Grab lunch from the cash cart and get ready go in-depth on creating dynamic teams (taught by Dr. Andrew Johnston), media training (Richard Lorenzen), and the latest research on homeschoolers (Dr. Albert Cheng and Dr. Brian Ray). You can find details for each session here. Please be sure to sign up for your preferred intensive when you register for the conference; this will help our planning team prepare most effectively.

Get Outdoors

Head to the nearby Eureka 2 Playground to give the kiddos some fresh air and space to run. Or check out Ray Roberts State Park, where you’ll find hiking trails, boating opportunities, and other ways to spend time under the big Texas sky.

Head to Downtown Denton

Discover local shops and dining in the downtown area for all interests and ages. Plus, you can explore history at the iconic courthouse at the center of Downtown Denton Square and in many preserved and restored buildings.

Explore the Dallas Zoo

See the largest zoo in Texas! For the young and the young at heart, there are hands-on learning experiences and animal encounters. Groups of 15 or more can arrange for discounted entry tickets.

Build Something at LEGOLAND Discovery Center

Raising budding builders? LEGOLAND Discovery Center has rides and creative experiences available for the whole family. You can play, build, meet characters, and even drop in at the coffee shop and LEGO Store!

See Dallas’s Iconic Reunion Tower

Day or night, Reunion Tower promises stellar views of the city from its famous GeO-Deck! Plus, make reservations to dine on another level at the Crown Block restaurant.

Peruse Art at the Dallas Museum of Art

Located in the nation’s largest arts district, the DMA is a catalyst for engaging people of all ages and backgrounds through various art exhibits, collections, and research. Bonus: general admission is free!
