HURRICANE RELIEF

Give Hope to Those Who’ve Lost Everything

Homeschooling families across the Southeast continue to struggle. For many, these hurricanes have stolen everything they have. Together, we can bring restoration and hope.
Three Ways You Can Help

13,000+ HSLDA Members Impacted

This summer, multiple hurricanes have ravaged communities across eight states in the Southeast. Over 13,000 member families live within the impacted area.

The numbers are staggering, but with your help, we can come alongside them to rebuild what was lost.

Here's how you can help.

3 Ways to Help

01 GIVE

Donate to Help a Family

Many homeschooling families have lost their belongings and even their homes to hurricanes and flooding this year. The road to recovery is long, and we still are receiving requests from families who need help.

The need is great. With your generosity, we can make a difference one family at a time.

02 SUPPORT HOMESCHOOLERS

Send Used Curriculum and Supplies

In the middle of their homeschool year, many families lost their books and supplies to flooding and destruction. Others are just beginning to homeschool as public schools in their area are closed indefinitely. If you have curriculum or supplies to donate, we have a Facebook group designed to connect you with those who need it most.
03 SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

Donate to Send a Volunteer

HSLDA's Generation Joshua sent an effective team of 53 volunteers to serve in western North Carolina in November. Though the trip is over, you can help us to cover the cost of housing, feeding, and transporting that team, or contribute to the possibility of future trips like these.

Two mudslides hit our home within minutes of each other . . . [We] are still waiting to hear if our home will be salvageable or a total rebuild. We left on foot during the storm . . . This has been quite the traumatic experience for all of us.

Dear HSLDA, I read with tears in my eyes the story of Allison and her struggles. My tears were from a deep empathy and understanding . . . Praise be to God for organizations like yours who come alongside us in our dire times of need.
