Ricci has been the coordinator of HSLDA's Ambassador Volunteer program since 2011. She is married to former HSLDA attorney Dewitt T Black, III (Dee). They homeschooled their 4 children for 21 years and say the greatest blessing is seeing their adult children
choosing each other as best friends.
In her spare time, Ricci enjoys listening to the Beatles, keeping betta fish, being a back-porch horticulturist, traveling with her two long-coat chihuahuas Penny Lane and Eleanor Rigby, and visiting “friends-with-history” in different parts
of the country. Her best days are those spent with her grandboys Bennett and Patton. Ricci has been a Christian since she was 10 years old.
