Martie du Plessis is a former remedial therapist who now works as an educational consultant, mentor, and Uncapped Education coach. She leads Dynamis Institute, which was formed in 2000 in response to the many enquires and appeals for help in
South Africa that Martie received concerning home education.
Martie homeschooled her own daughter, Chamonix, now aged 35. Chamonix is married to a farmer, and they are homeschooling their seven children.
Martie has done various video productions on home education and learning. She has developed a new educational approach, called Uncapped Education, through which she hopes to provide an answer to the crisis in education not just in South Africa, but all
of Africa. In this way, the principles of home education can bring simplicity and liberty to many children in need.
