Marialena Zachariah is an HSLDA bilingual educational consultant serving in the areas of educational consulting, interpretation, and translation.
She was homeschooled during her childhood in her native country, Argentina, and educated her own three children at home for sixteen years. Apart from her homeschooling experience, she’s also taught in public and private schools, and homeschool co-ops.
Marialena has a degree in sociology from Wheaton College in Illinois. She served as a social worker in medical clinics in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for ten years. She is passionate about educating patients about their health.
Now that her children are in college, she supports Spanish-speaking families who wish to homeschool their children. She answers their questions, shares resources, and encourages them to enjoy their time with their children.
Marialena finds culture, community development and mission trips fascinating. She takes pleasure in serving as a biblical counselor, spending time with her international family, and trekking mountains, rivers, and beaches.
