All payments are due upon receipt. If a payment is not received or payment method is declined, the donation will not be processed.

Designated gifts unused within 12 months may be used where most needed.

Refund/Return Policy

Refunds may be offered within 30 days at the request of the donor. Please contact our support team at donations@hslda.org or 540-338-5600 to request a refund.

For Maryland residents, a copy of HSLDA’s financial statement is available by request to: HSLDA, 1 Patrick Henry Circle, Purcellville, VA 20170.

West Virginia residents may obtain a summary of the registration and financial documents from the Secretary of State, State Capitol, Charleston, WV 25305.

For Mississippi residents, the official registration and financial information of HSLDA may be obtained from the Mississippi Secretary of State's office by calling 1-888-236-6167. Registration by the Secretary of State does not imply endorsement.

FOR NORTH CAROLINA RESIDENTS, FINANCIAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ORGANIZATION AND A COPY OF ITS LICENSE ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE STATE SOLICITATION LICENSING BRANCH AT 888-830-4989. THE LICENSE IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT BY THE STATE.

For New York residents, upon request, a copy of HSLDA’s last annual report filed with the Department of State is available from HSLDA or the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Law, Charities Bureau, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271.

For Pennsylvania residents, the official registration and financial information of HSLDA may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll-free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement.

For Virginia residents, a financial statement is available from the State Office of Consumer Affairs in the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services upon request.

For Washington residents, the registration statement required by the Charitable Solicitation Act is on file with the Washington Secretary of State.

Many low-income parents who received a Compassion Curriculum Grant this year will be struggling financially during the Christmas season.

You can hear from some of the families we helped last year in the video below:

  • A single mom of two girls who doesn’t get financial support from her ex-husband lost her job right before Christmas.
  • A family whose roof was destroyed in Hurricane Milton had no money left after the repairs to put even one present under the Christmas tree.
  • A widow with debilitating health issues was unable to work while caring for several children and had car repair bills to prioritize. 

You can help make Christmas possible for hurting families like these!

Through your compassionate giving, HSLDA is providing a “Merry Christmas” gift to widows, single parents, and disaster impacted Curriculum Grant families again this year—a personally signed Christmas card and a small check to help ease their financial burden.

Your gift to HSLDA provides Compassion Grants that give struggling families what they need most: things like curriculum, testing, co-op fees, therapies, and technology. Your gift also supports financial aid for families who can’t afford HSLDA membership.
