For more than 25 years, HSLDA has come alongside homeschooling families in their hardest seasons—debilitating illness, the loss of a job, a home, even a spouse. We’ve learned something in all those years: a crisis can take nearly everything a family counts on, but it cannot touch a family’s dignity.

Every parent and child we serve bears a worth bestowed by God—one that no bankruptcy, diagnosis, or hurricane diminishes. What hardship can impact is a family’s means to live out their calling to give their children what they need to flourish.

That's where you come in.

More than 700 families each year find the courage to reach out to HSLDA for help with the cost of homeschooling.

This August, our goal is to sponsor 100 families through Compassion Grants and HSLDA membership financial aid before the school year begins. A gift of $1,000 carries a whole family. Gifts of any size combine to carry the next.

“It was hard to hit a such deep valley in our lives, and it wasn’t easy to ask for and accept help. We really wanted to make it on our own. You made it possible for us to continue our homeschooling journey together and to stick with our beliefs, priorities, and goals for our children. We could never explain how grateful we are for believing in the beauty of homeschooling so much that you would help us. Thank you! ” —Jessica S., Compassion Grant family

Your gift will supply practical help—and it will communicate to a family that their worth was never in the things they lost, their children are seen, and they do not walk alone.

Will you sponsor a family today?
