House Bill 67 recently changed some notification requirements in Ohio for the 2020-2021 school year.
Here is what you need to know:
Homeschoolers no longer need to submit test scores or portfolio reviews for the 2020-2021 school year.
HB 67, signed into law on March 20, updates previous COVID-19 legislation waiving the academic assessment requirement for families homeschooling pursuant to O.A.C. 3301-34.
In other words, for this year, you do not need to submit an academic assessment report when you submit your annual notice of intent to homeschool.
HSLDA applauds this commonsense move to help make homeschooling easier.
