Do you enjoy trouble-shooting technology problems and would like to put those skills to use? HSLDA is seeking two individuals who have a solid tech foundation and an eagerness to learn more. These are full-time positions with hybrid flexibility: working partially remote, partially on site in our Purcellville, VA office. As the Helpdesk Analyst, you will be responsible for interacting with staff, providing usage support, diagnosing, and implementing basic and intermediate solutions across our suite of applications. We invite you to bring your talents to our team at HSLDA where you can make a lasting difference.

What you will do

  • Provide technical assistance and support for questions and issues related to computer systems, software, and (occasionally) hardware.
  • Walk staff through the problem-solving process and resolve configuration issues.
  • Gather diagnostic information and escalate unresolvable issues—while always learning so you can resolve these issues next time.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • Assist with software unit testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Assist with data cleanup and management tasks.
  • Assist with system documentation.
  • Learn and adhere to HSLDA’s software stack, standards, and practices.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrable skill with technology; 1+ year of prior IT experience preferred.
  • Self-motivation and the analytical problem-solving skills required to identify and resolve issues.
  • Eagerness to study and learn new technologies.
  • An ability to work well on a team and independently as needed.
  • A confident yet humble attitude and a willingness to grow.
  • A strong commitment to the Christian life as well as HSLDA's mission.
  • Experience with any or the following will be a plus: software testing, troubleshooting and diagnosis, Salesforce, Active Directory, SQL, web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Web Server), Data Analysis.
