DMV Lets Homeschoolers Drive
Dear HSLDA Members and Friends:
We wanted to tell you about a significant victory for homeschoolers in West Virginia.
As is often the case, what ended as good news began as a crisis. HSLDA had helped pass a new non-discrimination law, but some DMV offices were still telling homeschoolers their credentials weren’t good enough for a driver’s license.
We worked with Senator Robert Karnes and senior DMV officials to get the policy changed in keepng with the new legislation.
