Putnam County Homeschool Information Session TOMORROW
Dear Putnam County Members and Friends,
We wanted to make you aware of a meeting being hosted by Stephanie Butcher with the West Virginia Home Educators Association specifically for Putnam County homeschoolers tomorrow!
We have gotten reports that the Putnam County Board of Education is causing problems for homeschooling families in the area, and this meeting is both informational and organizational to help homeschooling families understand how to respond. We believe that it is important for homeschooling families to be unified against the threat, and we hope you will attend!
The meeting will also address homeschooling in general and how to comply with the law in West Virginia. This could be a good opportunity to invite anyone you know who might be interested in starting to homeschool!
We apologize for the short notice; we just learned about the meeting today. It will be held tomorrow, September 30 from 7-9 p.m. at the Putnam County Courthouse (3389 Winfield Rd, Winfield).
