Welcome to HSF’s Foundation Report

Friends of the Home School Foundation,

2013 promises to be a busy, productive, and blessed year at HSF. We've already given out 125 grants in January and February alone. Below you'll find news on open enrollments, thank-you letters, and ways you can get involved in helping families homeschool through hard times.

In the News

Year-In-Review Thanks!

“We have come to learn over the years that the blessings that flow from HSF are truly from God and his loving messengers.” If you haven’t had a chance yet to read the many year-in-review thank-you letters that came pouring in during December and January, take a moment and read, in their own words, how people were blessed. Read Thank Yous>>>

Widows Fund Open Enrollment—March & April

March and April are open enrollment months for the Widows Fund. If you or someone you know is a homeschooling widow(er), you can get all the details here.

Curriculum Relief Open Enrollment—April & May

April and May are open enrollment months for the Curriculum Relief Fund, which helps homeschooling HSLDA member families who are struggling to make ends meet. If you or someone you know is an HSLDA member family and facing challenging financial circumstances, please go here to learn more or contact us to see if you are eligible to apply.

PHC Scholarships

Know a freshman going to Patrick Henry College this fall whose family was an HSLDA member through highschool? Check out this scholarship for HSLDA members>>> Application deadline for the 2013 fall term is May 1, 2013.

How Can You Help?

There are so many ways to get involved with the Foundation’s work. Of course monetary donations are always welcome, but don’t let tight finances keep you from helping fellow homeschoolers. You can also volunteer with our Ambassador Program to help homeschoolers in need in your state! Or, use Clicks for Homeschooling every time you shop online. Learn more ways to get involved>>>

HSF Prayer Needs

Please keep the Foundation and those we help in your prayers. We cannot be effective without God's blessing and guidance, and the people we help need His grace and comfort far beyond what we can give. We regularly post prayer needs for our families on Facebook.
