House Bill 260: Raises Compulsory School Attendance Age from 17 to 18

This bill would raise the compulsory school attendance age from 17 to 18. However, children who are enrolled in a church school prior to age 16 may continue to be withdrawn at 16.
HSLDA's Position:
HSLDA opposes any expansion of state control over education. This bill should be opposed.
