H.R. 272—To amend the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act

Action Requested:
No action is requested at this time. HSLDA will continue to monitor this bill and will send out an action e-lert if the bill comes up for a hearing.

This legislation, if enacted, would exempt ordinary books and paper-based printed material from the lead limit in the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act.
