Senate Bill 896: Custody When Parent Has a Disability
This bill states a parent's disability is not to be a negative factor in determination of custody or visitation without showing a direct nexus between the disability and alleged harm to the child that cannot be alleviated or prevented by accommodations. See also House Bill 845.
