House Bill 900: Justina's Law-Parental Rights In Medical Care
This bill, known as Justina's Law, provides that a parent is not to be charged with abuse or neglect when medical care is sought, a diagnosis is provided, and a parent is following or willing to follow a lawful course of treatment. It specifies that a parent may choose one professional's treatment over another.
