House Bill 2818: Prohibit Discrimination Against Private, Nonpublic, or Homeschooled Graduates

Summary:

This bill prohibits state agencies and institutions of higher learning from requiring a private, nonpublic, or homeschooled graduate to submit to alternative testing if that graduate already has an acceptable ACT, SAT, or other test score. It also prohibits state agencies and institutions of higher learning from rejecting those graduates on the basis that their secondary education was not accredited by the board of education or an accrediting agency.
