House Bill 2547: Grandparent Visitation

Summary:

This grandparent visitation bill provides that the guardian ad litem may recommend psychological evaluations. If a grandparent has been a significant or primary caretaker of the child for over a year, greater importance is to be placed on that fact in deciding visitation rights. The bill also reduces the impact of parental bias against grandparent visitation.
