House Bill 2491: Mandatory Instructional Days
This bill would change the mandatory instructional days from 180 days to total minutes. It would allow minutes to be banked and used later in the year, establish begin and end dates of the school year, require certain achievement tests, and exempt those students testing at a certain level from attending school past a certain date.
