UN Treaties

UN Treaties

HSLDA has long been concerned about the danger posed to parental rights and homeschool freedom by certain United Nations treaties. Under the terms of many of these treaties as well as the growing body of international law, these treaties could be used to override parental rights and education freedom in our own nation. None of these UN treaties become the “supreme law of the land” under our Constitution unless they are ratified by a two-thirds vote of the Senate.
