The National Writing Board offers student writing evaluations among its services.  You can submit one of your child’s history research papers and it will be critiqued and reviewed by two evaluators who assess the paper in five different areas for a fee of $100.  At your request the evaluation can then be forwarded to colleges so that admissions officers can view an independent analysis of your child’s writing skills.
