The Department of the Treasury is again offering a contest, “National Challenge on Financial Literacy,” to all students. The deadline is December 12 so please act quickly if you are interested in entering the contest.

Homeschoolers are encouraged to participate. In fact, when this contest was offered in May 2008, a homeschooler was one of ten students chosen to be recognized by the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy at its June 18 meeting in Washington, D.C., where they were awarded a college scholarship.
