Review the Old; Resolve for the New

As you are looking forward to a new year in 2008, here are some good reminders from Vision Forum on how to bring closure to 2007 and prepare for 2008:

Outline and Chronicle the Many Providences of God – this exercise will not only remind you of instances of what God did for you and your family in 2007, but it will provide you with the opportunity to rejoice and give thanks.
Say ‘Thank You’ for Those Who Have Invested in Your Life – don’t wait until funerals to give thanks for the person’s influence in your life; do it while they are still living and can be encouraged by your words.
Forgive Those Who Have Wronged You – Lack of forgiveness festers in the heart bringing about bitterness. Bitterness may shorten your life and be a roadblock to real joy.

Remember, a new year, a clean slate lies before each of us. What will be written on it this year?
