College Admission Requirements for Homeschoolers

As you are looking at prospective colleges for your children, visit the colleges’ websites to check out any policies specific to homeschool applicants. If there is a requirement which seems unnecessary (such as requiring a GED), contact the admissions office since sometimes these are old requirements which the college has not yet updated. Other times, the website may simply be incorrect. If you do find, however, any homeschool requirements of a college to be overly burdensome and you are a member of HSLDA, contact our legal department for assistance.
