Christian Writer’s Guild Courses for Gifted Writers

If your high schooler is a gifted and skilled writer who would like to further develop his/her talents, you may be interested in the courses that the Christian Writer’s Guild offers to young adults. The Squires course covers numerous writing topics and provides lesson plans, while the Apprenticeship course has an option where college credits may be earned through an agreement with Taylor University.

Principles of Government

As a supplement to your child’s government or civics course, check out the information provided in HSLDA’s Homeschool Heartbeat series entitled “Principles of Government.”  Michael Farris covers the topics of freedom, morality, limited government, separation of powers, and the threat of international treaties.  The transcripts may be read or listened to online.
