HSLDA - Standing on principle

Vol. 55, Prg. 21–25
October 11–15, 2004

Changes in the law don't come about overnight. Sometimes, the process can take years—and homeschooling is a good example. Since 1983, HSLDA has worked through the court systems, state by state, to bring to light unconstitutional laws and violations of parental rights. Each time a judge rules in favor of homeschooling, a legal precedent is set for future cases. This week, Mike Smith provides the background for five such rulings.
