Mike Smith:
Ricci Black, coordinator of the Home School Foundation’s Ambassador Program joins us again today. Ricci, could you tell us about one of the practical projects that HSF’s ambassadors have recently accomplished?
Ricci Black:
Oh, I’d be glad to! Our community ambassador in Texas, raised a substantial sum of money through a home-based business party, contributed that money into the Texas Ambassador Fund which HSF matched because of our matching fund incentive, then, this ambassador arranged for four homeschool families, with a total of 10 kids between them to receive generous gifts of money at a special presentation Christmas party. You know what, these families would likely have had no gifts under the trees, or new schoolbooks without this assistance, and this is just one story! Others are taking place as we speak, because of caring ambassadors in 30 states!
Mike:
Ricci, it’s really heart-warming to hear about ambassadors who are stepping up in such practical ways to help homeschooling families in need. Thanks for sharing with us again today! Next time, we’ll talk about how our listeners can get involved themselves! And until then, I’m Mike Smith.
