Imagining Homeschooling High School

Becky Cooke

What is the first thought that comes to your mind when you think of homeschooling high school?

Is it, “High school – wow!” Or, “Will the children be able to read by then? Will they still like me?”

There were so many thoughts running through my head when I anticipated high school. Yet when it arrived, it wasn’t as scary as I imagined. In fact, I found the Lord was already there providing the help and guidance I needed (even before I knew it was needed).

The Apostle Paul talks about the dangers of vain imaginations (speculations) in 2 Corinthians 10:5 and how they can lead us astray from the knowledge of God. We are admonished to take

“every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.”

What are you “imagining” about high school at home?
