As a follow up to these previous posts on college financial aid and scholarships, you may want to check out this link that lists colleges (by state) that award scholarships specifically to homeschoolers.
The link also lists private scholarships to homeschoolers as well as homeschool organizations that offer scholarships. Some of the scholarships may require writing an essay, attaining a certain GPA, or accumulating community service hours. Others may be need-based and dependent on your family’s financial situation. It’s never too early to begin looking for scholarship opportunities, although actually applying for the scholarship may need to wait until the junior or senior year of high school.
