As a wife, mother, home educator, and curriculum writer, Sherrie Payne is a woman of many talents. She is the author of Around the World in 180 Days, a world history and geography curriculum developed to teach children “the rest of the story.” Sherrie also teaches at her local co-op. She has taught an online course for The Potter’s School, has edited and written columns for her state’s homeschool magazine, and has spoken at homeschool support groups and state-wide homeschool conventions. Sherrie and Rick (her husband of 40 years) live on 23 acres of wooded property outside Crawfordsville, Indiana, with two cocker spaniels. All six of their children are married, and three are now homeschooling their own children. Sherrie dedicates her free time to her flower gardens and her 13 (and counting!) grandchildren.
